Dear all,
An international organization is looking for two civil Engineers to
support in the construction works for water supply systems and public
sanitation facilities in Bugadde in Mayuge district and Kacheri-Lokona in
Kotido district and design review and documentation of existing water supply
systems for the towns of Moroto Municipality, Kotido Town Council and
Nakipelimoru in Kotido district.
The civil engineers must be registered in Uganda in accordance with the Engineers Registration Act Cap 271. Qualification details are as follows:
a) /Water
and Sanitation Engineer: He/She should hold at least first degree in
Civil Engineering or Water Engineering or an equivalent from a recognized
university. The Water and Sanitation Engineering should be a Registered
Professional Engineer and shall have at least 15 years experience in planning,
design, implementation, construction and management of operation and
maintenance of piped water supply systems in small/rural towns. Should have
executed at least ten previous similar assignments.
b) One
Design Engineer: He/She should hold at least first degree in Civil
Engineering or Water Engineering or an equivalent from a recognized university.
The Water Engineering Specialist should be a Registered Professional Engineer
and shall have at least 10 years experience in planning, design, implementation,
construction and management of operation and maintenance of piped water supply
systems in small/rural towns. Should have executed at least five previous
similar assignments.
